Objectives of Outpatient Services
WGCAS provides a variety of counseling services, including wrap around services, homestead counseling, parent educator services, and adolescent group counseling. Participation in any or all of the counseling components is based on the reason for referral, assessment results, treatment recommendations, and the individual service plan. Each counseling modality is grounded in data driven, evidence-based techniques developed specifically for the target population. Durations of the counseling programs usually range from six to eighteen months. While some individual counseling is provided in the WGCAS offices, the vast majority of the individual counseling occurs in the client’s home.
